- Final Fantasy VI Music. Many consider Final Fantasy VI to be Uematsu's greatest work. The soundtrack is brilliantly scripted and themed, and plays more like a deep opera than a movie soundtrack (which is the standard to which games are usually held). It's emotive without being sappy, and energetic without sounding like a school's fight song.
- Final Fantasy VI has always been my #1 FF game. It had the largest group of party members in any FF game, was one of the longest SNES titles for its time (Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger were two others), and some of the most entertainig player interactives of any of the series (the opera scene being one of them).
